Introduced June 1926. Avonside Engine Co. Ltd. design to GWR Collett requirements for small wheelbase design for dock shunting. Classification 3F.

These engines were built to replace older 0-4-0 Tanks from the absorbed Swansea Harbour Trust. All were allocated to Swansea Danygraig shed.

Number Series 1101-1106.

Built at Avonside Engine Co. Ltd., Bristol Works.

1101-1106 Lot No. 246 1926

The first loco withdrawn was 1101 in November 1959. The other five locos 1102-1106, quickly followd, being withdrawn in January 1960. All six were withdrawn from Swansea Danygraig shed. None are preserved.
