Inverness IS TMD allocated 37261 stands on its home depot.

Built at EE Vulcan Foundry in January 1965 and delivered new to Sheffield Darnall depot, this was an ER and ScR loco for most of its career, though EWS sent it to work in France for a year from Aug 1999. It was finally withdrawn in Jan 2014 by DRS at Carlisle and last see at Barrow Hill in Aug 2014.

It was named "Caithness" at Wick station on 14 June 1985 to mark the upgrading of the stations on the Far North line.
