Allocated to Cardiff Canton in the PCFA Provincial pool, 37428 "David Lloyd George" arrives heading 1V09 10.00 Manchester Picc - Cardiff.

Built by EE Vulcan Foundry in May 1965 this loco went new to Cardiff Canton depot, was converted to sub-Class 37/4 in Feb 1986, refurbished and fitted with eth. It later passed to Harry Needle and was regular traction on the Royal Scotsman luxury land-cruise. Withdrawn in Dec 2009, it was cut up at CF Booth, Rotherham in March 2013.
