LMS/BR Fowler 0-6-0 Class 4F No. 43924, built by the London Midland & Scottish Railway at Derby Works in October 1920 as LMS 3924, at Woodham Brothers scrapyard, Barry, Wales on 18th August 1966. It was withdrawn from 22A Bristol Barrow Road shed in June 1965. It is preserved at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway - http://www.kwvr.com uk/

A schoolboy trainspotter, wearing his school uniform of peaked school cap, shirt, tie, pullover, blazer, short trousers and knee socks, poses for a photo in the locos cab. By 1966, school caps and shorts were no longer worn by the vast majority of boys, only public and grammar schools hanging on to them.
