Brand new Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Company/Sulzer/AEl Type 4 No. D0260 Lion at Wolverhampton Low Level station on 21st April 1962 on its trial run from Birmingham to Shrewsbury.

A young schoolboy trainspotter, Michael Spooner notes down its number in his book. He wears a jacket and long trousers.

Judging by the angle of his head, he's actually looking at a different loco not visible in the photo (it's somewhere to the left) on one of the other tracks.
